Halloween 2011

So, since last year we had so little left after only 2 hours I bought two bags of Jolly Ranchers this year, 3.75 pounds each giving us a total of 7.5 pounds of candy. The picture above is what is left of the 7.5 pounds of candy. Believe it or not, this is about equal to what was left from last year when we only had one 3.75 pound bag of Jolly Ranchers. Go figure.

Started on Laundry Room

Since we are still novices when it comes to do-it-yourself home improvement we started on something a little easy; the laundry room. The cabinets that were there are now just pieces of lumber.

We will be replacing them with a few cabinets of our own but not as deep and probably not as many. Also, we are considering putting a freezer in there for extra food so we can stock up and preserve our own home grown food.
