Earlier this week was the Holiday Booktube-Athon. I had 3 books in my TBR pile, and I was able to get through all 3.
I started with Sword Art Online #1, Aincrad - which was my gift. I read this in one day. Then I moved to The Runaway King by Jennifer A Nielsen. This is the book that follows The False Prince which I loved. I've been waiting for a chance to read this book and finally snuck it in. This book met the follow up to something I read this year. Since I read this on days I worked, the first day I planned to get through 2/3 of the book. I made sure I hit this goal before going to bed. The final day I finished The Runaway King, and moved to a new manga I found called Witch Buster. This was the book with white on the cover. It comes in 2 volume bind ups, so I read the first bind up of volumes 1 and 2. I finished this just as the clock struck midnight.
I had fun with the readathon even though I didn't really participate in the social media side of things. It was nice to sneak in a few more books before the end of the year.
